Prism Kites designed the Quantum 2.0 Stunt Kite – Storm in an exclusive color specifically for us at The Kite Loft. Since pilots everywhere choose the Quantum as the ultimate all-around sport kite, Prism approached its evolution with great care to ensure it remains a top-tier performer.
Rather than resting on their laurels, the team at Prism decided to upgrade the legend anyway. Consequently, for kite enthusiasts seeking a stunning look and dependable performance, the Quantum 2.0 delivers both in one sleek package.
Ultimately, Prism’s goal was to keep everything pilots love about the classic Quantum while adding even more flight performance and clever details. To that end, they also added fun new graphics and colors just to freshen things up. With that in mind, here are the changes Prism made to the Quantum model so many know and love.
Improved Wing Shape & Bridle Adjustments
The wing shape of the Quantum 2.0 has been modified for enhanced tracking and stability, which aids in lighter wind conditions. Furthermore, the bridle geometry also features a one-step adjustment point at the center T, allowing for quick changes for different wind speeds.
Upgraded Bag & Smarter Storage
A redesigned bag rolls up and can be attached to a belt loop, offering an external pouch for lines and an internal sleeve for full-length storage. Additionally, the Quantum 2.0 shares the same frame geometry, rods, and fittings as older models, ensuring compatibility while providing balanced flight. A 75-foot tube tail is available separately for those looking to add extra flair.
