Pilots buy it because it is the best all-around sport kite, so why change a good thing? We ignored that idea and upgraded the legendary Quantum anyway! Our goal was to keep everything pilots love about the classic Quantum while adding even more flight performance, sweet details to make usage easier, and fun new graphics and colors just to freshen things up. Here are some of the changes we made.
We tweaked the wing shape, which gives it even better tracking and additional stability. Now you keep it aloft more easily in light winds without needing pro-level skills. A subtle change to the bridle geometry adds a super-quick, one-step bridle adjustment at the center T. You can now set your kite for different winds. We also upgraded the bag to a new design, which lets you roll it up and clip it to a belt loop while you fly. An external pouch for your line set keeps it from tangling. In a hurry to get off the beach? A clever hidden extension sleeve pops out if you want to store your kite full-length without folding the leading edges.
Ready to replace a well-loved older Quantum? The Quantum 2.0 keeps the same frame geometry, carbon rods, and fittings, so it offers backward compatibility!
The updated Quantum 2.0 flies beautifully; it offers the perfect balance of pull and controllability across wide wind ranges. You get everything you need to fly it, including Dyneema flying lines, a winder, flight straps, and a nice travel sleeve. This sleeve protects the folded kite at full or half length.
If you really want to get noticed, clip on a 75-foot tube tail (sold separately). You trace your flight path with eye-catching calligraphy that is sure to attract a crowd!
